NEW ~ Stainless Steel Threaded Inserts made in Missouri

These can be used with all of these products; stoppers, openers, and can tab pulls.  This is an original design from my manufacturer, they have a cap on the top so you don’t have to worry about glue getting into the threaded area.  They are 5/8″ high with the 3/8″ x 16 tpi thread and you would use the same 7/16″ drill bit as for the brass threaded inserts.  Always drill the hole 1/4″ – 3/16″ deeper to allow for air compression when installing the insert.  These were designed due to requests from customers who wanted stainless steel to compliment the products.  *note: these inserts need to be glued in to prevent them from getting loose if the wood ‘moves’; which all wood will do.  CA is not the best to use as it tends to break down in the turning process; I use Tite Bond II because it gets very hard and doesn’t leave any room for the insert to get loose.
