This is the perfect kit to get started tuning bottle stoppers it includes everything you need to get started turning stoppers and openers. This simple kit lets you try a few different stoppers so you can better decide which styles you prefer. If you are not sure which mandrel, this mandrel comparison page may help you decide. It is really a personal preference as one style mandrel is not better than the other.

Excellent kit to get started. These are high quality steel stoppers that sell well at craft fairs and make great gifts. Far better quality than other ones we’ve done in the past from woodworking stores. We added the threaded inserts later on. Highly recommend watching Carl’s video on how to get a perfect fit. Excellent technique.

I am not really one for leaving reviews, but I was so impressed with the high level of customer service and the products received I felt compelled to. The communication throughout the order was excellent. When I got the shipment notification with tracking number I panicked as I realised I had entered my postcode incorrectly. I have used some of the stoppers, and threaded inserts I got from you. I like them a lot and the fact that they are SS, Made in USA. That makes my stoppers 100% made in USA. I may try some of the other types of stoppers you have at a later date, The Mandrel kit I bought is what I use all the time now for making my bottle stoppers, It works very well. I have printed out your tags also to use on my stoppers too for gifts to people. It gives them a good description of the stopper and it explains the many uses of the stoppers.
