BR-3000 Contemporary Style
$7.55
The Contemporary wine stopper has modern, sleek lines unlike any other stopper on the market. This stopper is sized the same as the very popular SS-9000 only without the curve at the base and it has a straight shoulder at the top for engraving a recipients name or event date. (see picture). Superior sealing, 4 o-rings of “squishier” durometer means these stoppers fit a larger variety of bottles than any tapered style. They are not just for wine, see photo in Balsamic Vinegar and specialty oil bottles. These stand on a shelf or window sill when not in use so your artwork is always on display. It has the same 3/8″ x 16 tpi threaded stud as all of my products. The top diameter is 13/16″ and is 1 1/4″ high. Both the brass and nitrile o-rings are the FDA approved grades for food contact. Photo shows how 2 o-rings make contact with the bottle in the neck for a superior seal.
This shows the difference between the 3000 Cosmopolitan Wine and the 9000 Wine stopper. They are both the exact same diameter, same size o-rings for the same fit in the bottles.
This unique stopper design gives you more marketing capabilities when combined with the Contemporary SS-4000 Whiskey stopper for a set. Customers love sets!

Mark Marshall –
I quickly realized the extreme quality difference between your stoppers and the plated ones! I will not go back to them. I refuse to use and inferior product, so you have me for as long as I am turning stoppers.

Such a great product from a personal business! I had been holding onto glass doorknobs for over 12 years I knew that they were destined for a fabulous project and the Stay-At-Home orders of the pandemic afforded me the time to get to it. A simple search on Pinterest led me to the idea of making bottle stoppers and then a Google search lead me to Niles Bottle Stoppers. I think that I may have typed in a question about how to do the project and perhaps Ruth’s details product descriptions in regards to what size I needed came up in the search… from there I reached out just to make sure I was buying the correct item. Ruth was quick to respond and super helpful. I ordered a bunch of them and they came in the mail just as described. I couldn’t believe how easy it was – I just screwed the stopper directly into the doorknob! They are excellent quality and with good weight- they can stand on their own and look great even without the wine (although why would you want to do that!) Do not hesitate to support this business- you can’t beat the customer service or the product. Thanks, Ruth!

I am very pleased with the stoppers and plan to order more.
I did note on the brass 4-ring stopper which we use every day that the stopper can be somewhat difficult to remove even with just a light touch inserting it into the bottle. I do like the seal.
I have received nice feedback on the bottle openers and a lot of people like the unique design

I like all of your brass stoppers. I think they are really classy. The cork style stoppers are really nice in stainless or brass. They have a nice fit and are a little shorter which I like.
All in all I think your products are great. I was surprised to still get you hand written receipts. It must take you extra time and is a real personal touch.

I really appreciate the workmanship that goes into your product and the people I have sold them to find them unique, well made and very usefully.

I have used 25 of the 65 stoppers that you sent me. All very nice and look great. I’m making these wine stoppers as gifts for each person/couple who will be attending my daughter’s wedding in a October.
I did make a few wine stoppers and bottle openers before hand though and was VERY pleased with everything. I was actually just bragging on you yesterday to my wood turning mentor about how much I liked the #152 mandrel.

Your products are top notch and are the only ones that I will use. People will ask me why don’t I buy the cheaper version of the stoppers out there and I tell them that I want to use only the best which of course you have been providing.
