NEW and INNOVATIVE STYLE MEAT TENDERIZER also used as PEANUT BUTTER COOKIE PRESS!
- FDA Food Compliant 304 18-8 Stainless Steel
- Made and patented in the USA
Tenderizer is 2 1/4″ diameter, 1/2″ thick solid stainless steel and weighs 11 oz. With a handle it will be almost 1 lb. and with this weight, there is
no need to “pound” as with traditional aluminum mallet style tenderizers. If you put a round knob style top as shown in the picture, it will be ergonomically comfortable to use for arthritic hands, making it easier to tenderize any piece of meat or press Grandma’s Peanut Butter Cookies!. Combine this meat tenderizer with the chicken press and make a mallet like in the photo for a super tenderizer! It also comes with a custom made rubber cap so it won’t mar counter tops to keep it on display when not being used.
*note: these caps are available separately if you purchased the tenderizer previously. Click here
*How to: drill a 5/16″ hole in you handle blank, either use one of my self-tapping mandrels or the 3/8″ tap to thread the blank. With the mandrel on your headstock, thread the blank on the mandrel, bring up the tailstock to initially shape your handle; this eliminates vibration. Finish turning, apply finish of choice. Glue the set screw in the handle using either Tite Bond III or CA. You want to remove the handle to put the tenderizer in the dishwasher and if the set screw isn’t glued in the handle, with removing it often, the threads will wear thin and it will have to be glued in later.
*Tip: For selling at shows, make 6 to 10 different handles with the set screws attached and let the customers choose which handle they want on a tenderizer, cookie press or chicken press.
*note: the wood handle in the photo is not included, it is just to show a suggested handle shape.

I can say that the purchase process, the shipping timeframe and the packaging are all top rate. Thanks and well done. I bought several things but I recently made the meat tenderizer and chicken pounder kits. I used the off-center jig to create a couple of handles for the meat pounder/tenderizer. These are fantastic so I made a set as a gift for our family doctor (a friend as well).

I purchased a whole bunch of meat tenderizers. I like them and seem to work well, sure they will sell at art and craft shows.
The only I would like to see is some sort of plastic cap to cover the tenderizer. If you are not careful it would be easy to scratch our nice granite countertop. I really, really, really like is that you can put the set screw in using an allen wrench. So much better than using a pair of pliers that ding up the threads.

Meat Tenderizer is great: quality, design and appearance are great, size and weight are perfect. My wife loves it and won’t let me sell it or give it away. I got a lot “oohs & ahhs” when I had it on display at our Wood Shop open house earlier this year.

Your bottle (wine) stoppers are the best I have found and will be ordering move as I need them.
Also I just tried your meat tenderizers and they are also the best I have found. Will ordering more.

Ruth I want to thank you for the great products. The meat tenderizer has been a huge success. I get all sorts of likes on them. The bottle stoppers have gone well also. The best item I found that you offer is the threaded inserts, they are a breeze to use and a lot easier than what I was using in the past

We sold 8 of these at Craft Shows in 2018. The handles are easy to make and attach to the the metal part.
They are a good product.
