No more broken fingernails and this tab lifter is especially great for people with arthritis or anyone who has trouble lifting the tab on dog food, tuna or soup cans. It lifts the tab and pulls it back to completely open the can. It also works great for releasing the air in the vacuum lid jars as shown in the photo. Slide the bottom under the lid where the little gap or space is and pull/push down on the handle. The seal is broken and the lid unscrews easily.
These tab pulls have the same 3/8″ x 16 tpi threaded stud as my other products allowing you to be able to use any Niles™Mandrel to turn a handle. The tab pulls are made to stand on a shelf when not in use so they don’t end up in the utensil drawer. Making the handle longer like Stewart did really give you a lot more leverage.

I’ve made a number of them but the most important one that I’ve made was for my 93 year-old mother-in-law. It has helped her tremendously in opening soda cans and also soup and vegetable cans that have a tab opening top.

I purchased 45 Tab Lifters from you, and sales have been quite good. I believe sales would be even better if I had a better way to explain what they are. As it is, when I notice a woman has really nice nails, I say “I notice you really take care of your nails. Here is something that can help you.” I also keep a couple of cans which are empty–I cut the bottoms off- and I can demonstrate how the tab lifters work. I also mention that they are really great for people with arthritis, and have sold many for this purpose. If you have any display/demonstration ideas, perhaps you could list them in one of your upcoming newsletters.
As far as the quality of the Tab Lifters, I am completely happy.
